Michael Maddock: Good afternoon Mr. Chairman and Members. Michael Maddock of the California Medical Association here in opposition to this bill.

Well I'm sure you've heard enough of my arguments and had enough of my act throughout the last four months, so today, to provide a dose of reality and put a more human, and less statistical, face on why the mandatory motorcycle helmet law is the most cost effective, least restrictive, minimally intrusive means available to protect and save lives.
